and we malagasy have lost our ancestral land , Indonesia , and now we have Madagascar but we still think about Indonesia . after 9 centuries of separation , we still speak an old malay language ( really close to Ma'anyan) but we don't speak the bahasa Indonesia and feel connected to you!
